About Me

Hey there!

Thanks for swinging by. So, you’re curious to know more about me, huh?

Back in my teenage days, I had a craving for adventure and exploring the world. I grew up in a flyover state in the southern part of the US, a.k.a. Oklahoma, if that sets the scene at all. I wanted a glimpse of other places so badly that at one point, I was writing to various pen pals around the world.

Then in high school, I landed upon an amazing opportunity to move abroad to Belgium as an exchange student for my entire senior year of high school. That was my first time moving abroad alone, far away from all my family and friends. Little did I know, that moment I set foot on the flight to Belgium would spark my passion for travel and change my life forever.

Fast-forward to after college – I found myself in the heart of South Korea, teaching English to a bunch of kiddos and adults. Almost two years of amazing food, new friends, and priceless memories with my students taught me that language is just one way we connect across cultures.

These days, I’m living that digital nomad life, hopping from city to city, country to country. It took me a couple of years after graduating college to get here, but I’m finally living a dream of mine—chasing waterfalls and strong wifi around the world.

Now, let’s talk wanderlust. Some of you might know me as the “Kinda Wild Wanderess.” Travel opportunities are my love language – the thrill of exploring new nooks and crannies, meeting fellow travelers, and collecting stories and postcards like souvenirs. And here’s the kicker – I didn’t grow up with a trust fund. Nope, not at all. In fact, I grew up with immigrant parents who worked blue-collared jobs to provide for a household of 7!

I’ve hustled, saved, and finagled my way to more than 32 countries. From budget flights with no legroom to bunk beds in party hostels, I’ve done it all to make my travel dreams a reality.

So, if you’re down for some travel stories, inspiration, and tips, stick around. This journey is just getting started, and I’m thrilled you’re along for the ride. 🌎✈️
